The state had urged the community to keep the celebrations low-key in the wake of the spike in Covid-19 cases in the state.
As per guidelines issued by the government, no processions should be organised and it is advised that people pray at their homes itself and mosques have been urged to not allow more than 40-50 people to pray at the same time to ensure that there is no crowding.
Vaz, which is organised during Shab-e-Barat, should preferably be held in a confined space.
However, if it is organised in an open space, care should be taken to ensure that there is no crowding and that the rules of social distance are observed.
